Artist Why she's interesting: She turns yard waste into works of art, is a civic booster involved with lots of important groups (including the City Club and Sparx in the City) who sometimes wears go-go boots to meetings and, most of all, because she strongly believes that creativity and hard work can transform our city.

Her mantra: “We don't have to be so damn wasteful in our lives.” By that, she refers to everything from natural resources to friendships to talents.
